Semester 1 is over. The first Semester 1 of the 'Covid Age'. I am happy to see that students enjoyed my IP module, consistently rating it well above the average of my School of Law.
However, rather than thanking me, they should thank themselves. It is not easy to make a highly-technical class like mine work in such a challenging situation. Although online teaching has its advantages, I believe that the 'physical' interaction between teacher and students is still essential in the learning process. Moreover, I believe that the interaction between the students is an irreplaceable part of a class. Talking with your friends, sharing thoughts, doubts etc... they are part of game.
I cannot wait to get back into a real classroom. And you?
