On Friday the 17th of June I had the pleasure to discuss the topic of 'IP and the Future of the EU Food Sector' at the ECTA 2022 Conference in Copenhagen (Denmark).
The panel was composed of a two-starred chef; a Gin trader; an officer of the EU Commission; two top IP lawyers and myself.
The talk lasted approximately 1 hour - way too short for all the ideas that would have been worth developing - and was attended by more than 150 people. It was a pleasure to see so many lawyers interested in this topic. This successful panel confirms the importance and the popularity of issues such as Geographical Indications, Food Security, Agrifood Business, Sustainability and more.
