It was a pleasure to be invited by Dr Martijn Huysmans to Utrecht to discuss about 'Geographical Indications, Gastronationalism and Fair Food'.
I had the chance to present my paper on Traditional Specialities Guaranteed and to meet a number of exceptional colleagues who investigate these topics from a different lens: economics, history, sociology, anthropology and so on.
What makes IP great is its multidisciplinary character. Hence, events like these should be way more frequent to expand and enrich the academic debate in this subject.
Thank you very much to Martijn and the University of Utrecht for organising this beautiful event.
The paper that I presented has been published on the GRUR International review and it is available Open Access here. Take a look if interested.
