I am delighted to share that during the works of the latest ECTA Conference that took place in Dublin, I have been appointed Secretary of the Geographical Indications Committee of ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association).
The ECTA community has been a second family to me for six years now, and this new role is a wonderful opportunity to keep contributing to this extraordinary group of IP professionals — strengthening our ties with key institutions, fostering discussion, and helping to shape a more efficient, effective, inclusive and sustainable approach to Intellectual Property in Europe and beyond.
I am especially pleased to be taking on this role alongside Angelica Lodigiani, President of the Committee, and Arnaud Lellinger, Vice-President — together I know we will make a great team.
I would also like to thank Aitor Pomares, former President of the GI Committee, for his dedication and leadership in steering the Committee's work over recent years, and for the warm welcome as we begin this new chapter together.
Let's go!
